Guitar & Piano!

In one's leisure time, a person may regularly do an activity for her/his pleasure, a hobby.

Why you should have a hobby?

A hobby helps a person to restores the balance and harmony that maybe missing from his/her life. Hobby acts as an outlet from your daily activities. For example, during leisure time, students may choose to do other things besides studying and revising. Students may choose to go for a shopping, play games or maybe write a blog. These activities help to reduce the stress levels arose from the continuous work done by the students which was in this case, studying.

A hobby also developed a healthy body and mind. Hobbies such as playing football or working out at the gym make your blood pumping and adrenaline flowing. Besides that, a hobby can also uncover and nurture talents you didn't even know you had. Perhaps, you could be the next famous football player.

Hold on! Why on earth am I explaining the benefits of having a hobby? =,='

Back to my main objective of writing this post,

The purpose of me writing this post, today, was to share to all of you about one of my hobbies which were playing musical instruments such as guitar and piano.

Playing guitar was not very easy to me. I learnt playing guitar from my friends and it was more like a shortcut. He taught me   how to pick and strum guitar, some simple chords and a few other things that were totally basics! Off you go, playing the guitar on your very own.

:)
Without owning a guitar, my practices become more difficult and not frequent because I have to borrow the guitar from someone else. Such difficulty made my learning slower and if I am not mistaken, I can only play a few easy songs such as Situasi, The Only Exception and Will Be a Dream, for about one year of learning. To be honest, I can only play a few full songs and one of it was "The Only Exception" by Paramore.

Besides guitar, I also knew how to play piano. Ermm... Maybe not I guess. This is because I can only play happy birthday song and a song by Muse, which was only the intro part that is about 15-20 seconds long. Not very impressive, I said. But, if I play the intro part of that song, you might think that I am good piano player who can play piano very well, which I was not. The song was Resistance by Muse. Very nice song, indeed.

Maybe in the near future, I will do my own cover for these songs. Before that, I should get a guitar for myself and keep on practising before I could record my own cover. Hopefully, this dream of recording my own cover could be achieved.

Will write more about my other hobbies in the next post.

Lets rock!
